SoCoffee

This is exactly what my daughter and I were looking for in a coffee shop! First of all, great coffee, and what I especially appreciated was that my Americana was served really hot, which is hard to find these days. The scones were excellent too, and we will return and try other pastries. It's small and cosy, with a quintessential small coffee shop feel. If you're staying at the Court Yard hotel, it's essentially right across the street.

A definite gem in a small town. The ladies who run SoCoffee are dedicated, hard working and very community based. While most modern coffee shops solely focus on speciality coffee and takeaway, SoCoffee gets just the trick with amazing coffee, somewhere to sit, eat and socialise. Evident in the constant flow of customers, they provide such a lovely space that most coffees shops are missing, community. Their new catering service is, as always, above and beyond what you expect, similar to their customer service for all people

So cosy interior well designed. Two friendly sisters serving, always pleasant and smiling. Good coffee and great sized cups. Good value all round. Just what the village needed. Now four years on and going from strength to strength. Great friendly staff, great friendly people, always welcome to young and old. And any special holiday occasions ( bank holiday) the shop is dressed up to that occasion with love for the people of the village. Even Santa visits.

I can't even begin to say how good this shop was, from food to service and to cleanliness and atmosphere, everything was spot on and the best coffee shop I've been to. The lady taking our order was very kind and nice to talk to. Thank you and will come again.

Amazing service, we live on Main Street and the barista always knew our order and was always so friendly! Beautiful bakery food. Excellent chairs. Great spot across the road behind the buildings to drink your coffee and duck watch. 11/10

Amazing coffee shop, lovely staff, lovely drinks and lovely atmosphere. Always served with a smile and have never had an issue with my order, heck, they usually go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. Five Stars!

Let me begin by saying I will definitely be returning. This coffee shop is perfectly located at the end of Captains Hill and has a stylish but cosy feel. The prices are reasonable and Sonata and her colleague made us feel so welcome. The coffee is great and the food delicious. My friend enjoyed her vegetarian panini and my scone was delicious. We spent a couple of hours and at no time felt rushed. The place was busy with couples out shopping and mums catching up after the school run. Good value, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere all add up to make this place well worth a visit.
